The pace of life is always getting faster and shows no signs of slowing down, and nobody wants to waste the most precious thing of all, which is of course time! This is where new businesses are born.
All that's required for a successful business is a great idea that will fill the need of people in the present – this idea has to help make people money, or help to save them time.
That is why we have decided to launch our new start up – MinskRent.Net. You may be surprised to learn that currently in Belarus, there is no site that has the capability to book apartments and hostels in Minsk. Only a few hotels with extremely high nightly rates are available in this regard.
MinskRent.Net is going to be the first portal that offers a convenient online search of apartments in Minsk and booking service where you can pay by Visa, MasterCard, American Express or PayPal with no need to call or e-mail anyone!
After much research and practical application, we came up with the decision to use CS-Cart as our ecommerce platform for the project. As it’s not oriented to meet hotel business-specific needs with all the features required of it, we built our own add-on for the platform that allows for the use of a calendar for both vendors and clients in the booking process.
But apartments are only the first step of the project – I am pretty sure that hostels and hotels will join us very soon. What’s next? «А great ship needs deep waters» and this start-up is definitely designed to grow! Kiev, Moscow and Saint Petersburg are next in line.
