• To set the module parameters, click on Settings icon on the bottom right which will direct you to a new page “Module Settings”. There you can configure the settings of the module: change the module name, permission options. etc.
• The most important part, though, is the Codingstaff.ContactUs section. In this section, you can set up settings that are specific for this module.
First, type the name of the department you want the emails to be send to and from. The department name you enter will appear in the email according to the template which is shown in the settings below.
Second, enter at least one email address that will be used as a contact one. The clients who sent a Contact Us request will receive all the correspondence from this address.
Further, you can set the e-mail template up to your personal liking by deleting or adding the information that will show up along with a message in an e-mail.
• When you are done with the settings, click “Update” and the Contact Us form will appear on the page.

It is important to configure your SMTP settings as well. To do it, go to Host -> Host Settings -> Advanced Settings -> SMTP Server Settings. There you will see a section that needs to be filled out and works for the whole web-site.

Here are the steps for the users with a Gmail account:


1. Type smtp.gmail.com in “SMTP Server and port”;
2. Choose “Basic” in the SMTP Authentication field;
3. Check “SMTP Enable SSL”;
4. In “SMTP Username” type an e-mail which is your portal e-mail that works as an intermediary between mail sender and a mail receiver;
5. Finally, enter the password in “SMTP Password”.


If you use an account other than Gmail, please ask the SMTP settings from your e-mail provider.
