Overview
Share a sentiment putting up some family pictures or impress your visitors with a remarkable photo collection by introducing a DotNetNuke image gallery module. Installed with a couple of clicks an attractively designed gallery may contain hundreds of pictures and a list of practical options to go along with: indicate images and thumbnails’ size; set pictures’ order; link pictures to external sources; add photos mouseover effect and more.

Adding Images and Building a Gallery
To add the items you want to be displayed within a gallery, navigate to “Manage gallery” page.

Before you can add images, you should upload gallery files to any folder on your server. Once they are uploaded you can add as many items to the module as you wish. Make sure you’ve synchronized your files if you use FTP.
Now in the gallery settings select the folder with images on your server which will be displayed. (Select “Folder with Images” button)
On the same page make sure to check other gallery module options.
- Use “Images Titles in Gallery” If you want to display images’ titles, want to keep them hidden or display their order number.
- Use “Image Resize Required” to have all images resized to a specific dimension in order to make pictures in the gallery look consistent.
- Finally “Thumbnail Size” option will enable to set the size of the image thumbnails. The input size is in pixels.
After going through all the options click “Build Gallery” button or if you have changed your mind click “Cancel” to get back to the previous page.

- Change the order of the gallery pictures. Move your pictures up and down by clicking on arrows located next to each picture.
- You can edit picture’s title, description. The title will be under the picture in your gallery, and description will appear every time your mouse arrow is on the picture.
- Link a picture to an external source.

Press “Go Back” button to save the changes and get back to the gallery.
